See, you just cannot do this in corporate world. They will fire you and destroy you. It was after work but a Marine is on duty 24 hours a day. I think I was 23. I was in my barracks room and may have told this story, but also told it to my friends. So if you heard this one I apologize. We call this gangster. I was in my room in barracks minding my own business. Drinking a 40. or two or three. I did drink a lot in those days, still can if no one noticed. Some jack ass pulls fire alarm. I am like man. They killing my buzz. Only way I could get into Marine Corps, Ironing and cleaning the barracks like the man wanted is if I was having fun. They ruined my fun. I knew better now just to stay and continue doing what I was doing. They were going to do roll call just like they do in prison. I said screw it. Taking my 40 with me and it was a bit of chaos so got away with it. Then thy lady that drove me from time to time to get battalion Mail, wakes from her sleepy eyes. Damn homie, you not messing around, drinking in formation. That is straight gangster. Even my Platoon Sergeant, who literally wanted to fight with me in Jacksonville, NC laughed. He immediately calls attention and everyone just forms up next to me to hide me. I am like now this cool. Anyone, no I will. We all knew it was a prank and think they found it funny someone just had fun with it. They all went back to their rooms. I wish I would have did that. Of course, we all probably be in trouble then. Get your brains back society. You still can have fun if you do it right.
