First let me start by saying that we are white, doesn't matter , but you won't get the story if I don't tell you. My sister's niece boyfriend was a black man and they had a little girl named Deja, which is not a real popular name around here. I have heard of one other person by that name. Deja is a few years older than my daughter, but they used to hang around together. We live in the same huge county but in different areas. So my daughter was at her high school and was talking to a group of girls and one said, "After school, I am going to Herndon to see my friend Deja. My daughter thought , how many Deja's are in Herndon? She asked the girl her last name and she said,"Yeah that's her. Do you know her?" My daughter replied , "Yeah,she's my cousin." And this high school girl said, "She can't be your cousin, she's black." Everyone burst out laughing! Well Duh!
