The absolute BEST New Year's Eve song is "1999" by Prince. I used to love to play this in my office at full blast on New Year's Eve. I don't know what the rest of the employees thought; but I was having a good time!
Prince Rogers Nelson (Prince) was born June 7, 1958. He was an American singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, dancer, actor and filmmaker. He is considered to be one of the greatest musicians of all time. Prince sold over 130 million records worldwide and has won 7 Grammys, 7 Brit Awards, 8 American Music Awards, 4 MTV Video Music Awards, 1 Academy Award and 1 Golden Globe. He died in 2016 of an overdose.
