A novel way to sell books.

I recently brought a book from a charity stall ,and when I started to read it, I noticed that somebody had left a bookmark inside it.
This bookmark was advertising a website, so I had a look at that website to see what it was all about. Apparently the people who run the website own a book selling company. But it was not your normal sort of book selling because they did not show pictures of the books , just the title and the price printed onto a plain brown paper parcel. This may sound to some as if it could be dodgy, but all they are trying to do is to sell books without people seeing the book cover. As we all know , you should never judge a book by its cover.

It is good to read books that are written by the same author because then you know that you will enjoy the book. Which author`s work do you enjoy reading best?

Thanks for sharing. I believe the bookmark was left on purpose for whoever had to book to take a look at the website.

The ink and the paper might be a bit expensive and then printing them out if they do that.I guess depends on how many they would make.

@Hannihar Ink and paper can be expensive to buy especially if they use good quality products.

I only had a brief look at the website this morning and I think they tell you who the author is and a bit about the subject of the book. Would you buy a book without being able to see the cover? I know that I always look at the front cover of a book before I read the description on the back cover .
