I really prefer myLot to Facebook for public discussions and debates. People here don't seem to personally attack each other in the comments when debating or even discussing something.
You're all very well behaved.
You all seem to be those diplomats you see in the Facebook comments or at least the sensible ones. Maybe I just havent come across the personal attacks yet...

I was never attacked even on Facebook but everything is important and mylot cannot replace Facebook

True it can't replace Facebook. Could you imagine if Facebook paid for people to socialise online the company would go belly up pretty quickly

@Fa_Maverick I don't get involved in discussions like that on facebook but I have been in some terrible arguments on one of the forums I belong to. I'm surprised I haven't been banned but to be fair I was called some terrible things. I should have just walked away which is what I intend to do in future as I was actually quite upset by it.

But people you encounter on public debates on Facebook aren't necessarily going to know you personally either. And yet I've seen people tear into perfect strangers about their personal life. I have experienced it too.

Haven't experienced personal attacks here in myLot. I doubt that I will.
People here, agree to disagree and then move on to other things.
