Song of the Day- January 2, 2019

At 50 years old, I see things from a different perspective. I use to try to ignore negative vibes. I wanted only to think about the good. I wanted only to do good, and hated myself when I failed.
I now realized that pain, failure, and sadness is a part of life. There is absolutely no avoiding it completely. Thinking about this makes me want to get depressed, but then I am overwhelmed with peace when I realize that God is bigger than my failures, and that He walks with me through my pain, and that His grace will lead me through the good times and the bad as I surrender to Him.
Today was the first time I had ever heard this song, "Grace Will Lead Me Home". It resonated with me. It is encouraging.
Is there a song that help you release the cares of the world and find rest?
