The Winners take it All

Well, not me because my name is not among the lucky winners whose names are picked to any of the prizes raffled. Last week, we had our school Grand Alumni Homecoming. The event was successful hosted by batch 1994. The last part of the program is the disco that lasted until the wee hours. Some names called as winners were no longer present so the particular prize is raffled once again and given to the person who stayed. The prizes this year are not that fabulous but plenty compared to two years ago when one lucky winner take home a car. I think the biggest prize given this time is the iPhone 11 where two winners received the prize. Too bad for the first 3 names called for the iPhone because they already went home. They maybe regretted it because had they stay, the thing will be meant for them but it worked the other way around.. Overall, it"s a joyful celebration.

I wouldn't know what to do with an "iPhone 11," but I suppose I could hire a teenager to show me.

I"m not familiar how it works too because I never have it in my life. I'm not even dying to buy it but I would love to have won it.

@ZedSmart If I "won" one, I would learn to use it, I suppose.

@TheHorse Yes, I would think the same. For sure we will try learning to use.

The iPhones were wonderful prizes. It’s frustrating to lose and always exciting to be a winner.

Over the years, it became a practice to have a raffle for the attendees. It all depends on the host batch what kind of prizes they will be given. There are minor and major prizes.

What a pity they went home early. I am sure they regretted going early home.
