My 2020 Planner Lineup

You all will think I am crazy but...I have 5 planners! Yes 5, but let me give you the rundown. Planner number 1 is an A5 planner agenda that I use for personal and budget planning purposes. I also have a pocket planner that is the extension of my A5 planner for my personal planning needs minus the budgeting and financial part - I use this to carry around as the A5 one is too big too big and heavy to be carried daily. Planner number 3 is strictly for work - meetings, seminars, deadlines, reminders, and important work appointments. Planner number 4 is a journal of some sort, but it is just a daily bullet list of important and notable events that happened for the day; a list of something that I am grateful for and things that I need to work on. And planner number 5 is for my "small business" items: the stuff that I sell on eBay, my Amazon Mechanical Turk submissions, mylot topics that I want to write about, and other potential passive income stuff that I am looking to get into. I am not sure if this setup will work for me. I do know that I prefer pen and paper and writing down lists instead of using digital planners and calendars. There is something about being able to write things down and being able to check or mark down as done that gives me some personal satisfaction in terms of productivity.

You are the second person that I know who uses the Sticky Notes method. She is a very visual person, so everything that still "sticks" out in her desk are stuff that she still needs to do. Once it's done, she tosses them to the recycling bin. According to her once it's done she does not need to keep it.

@mrki444 Oh got it. I thought you refer to the good old school style sticky notes. I do use them once in a while whenever I need to jot down something real quick and I am doing some online work.

I know, I oftentimes think that pretty soon I will not be able to keep up with all of these. But by then I would hope to have developed a system that works best for me and I will stick to it.

Could you please "plan" to make paragraphs when writing something, it would be much easier to read. Thanks.

I don't have any plans for 2020. I am just going with the flow now.

And that is also fine. Having or maintaining planners is not for everyone. My husband does not need one, he just keeps important dates and appointments on his phone's calendar. That is all he uses and it works just fine for him.
