A gentleman who was involved in an auto accident on New Year's Eve is thanking the detective of Flagler County who did their part to assist him to reunite with pet Chihuahua who is six years of age after he went missing for four days. The detectives would place food at the sight of the auto accident in Bunnell Florida which is close to Daytona Beach everyday so that Max would not starve and hopefully he would appear to reunite with his owner. On the fourth day, the owner of Max and the detectives hit the jackpot when Max appeared out of the woods and was reunited with his owner who cried tears of joy when the reunion happened. What was the cause of the auto accident is not known as this time other than being that it was New Year's Eve, drivers were not being careful driving their autos on the roads.
