As I have posted in other blogs, and as many of you have experienced, life is just crappy sometimes. It is full of injustice, cruelty, and pain. As a Christian, I often don't understand why God allows some things. But as the words of this song relate, even if I don't understand, I know God is God and He loves me and He knows the future. He understands my doubts and frailties. He knows my failures, yet He still chooses to love me.
This song brought comfort to our family when my daddy died 2 years ago. It is the song my daughter chose to play at her baby's funeral. It is still bringing us hope and comfort today. I hope someone else can find that same hope and comfort as they listen.
