Earlier in the countdown LindaOH mentioned that she wasn’t much on country music, but did like Patsy Cline. Hey, what do you know? Not by request, but by coincidence, is someone she likes for today’s country song with “love” in the title. I’ve Loved and Lost Again - Patsy Cline There’s a reason Patsy Cline has endured as a legend. Just listen to that woman’s voice. Dang. Dang. Dang!!! It’s been almost 57 years since the plane crash near Camden, Tennessee that took the lives of Cline, Cowboy Copas, and Hawkshaw Hawkins. Unfairly, Copas (especially, who should be in the Hall of Fame IMO) and Hawkins have been relegated to afterthoughts to that tragic event. There are lots of women singers in this world. But a voice like Patsy Cline’s? SINGULAR. I've Loved and Lost Again Written by Eddie Miller Released as a single, 1956 Appeared on Encores, 1962 I ask you what chance have I:
From "Tex Ritter's Ranch Party" in 1957

@Aquitaine24 I was making a joke with her. Patsy Montana is another famed country singer. I am quite aware of Patsy Cline having been to her museum in Nashville.
