Along with songs with “love” in the title from the world of country music, I’m also taking us to Valentines Days with rock/R&B/pop songs that have “love” in the title. It also gives me an opportunity to double my pleasure with longtime favorites! Case in point...... Loco de Amor (Crazy for Love) - David Byrne Like a pizza in the rain No one wants to take you home But I love you just the same Now, do you have any doubt about why I love Talking Heads so much? David Byrne’s first solo album went all over the world musically — literally. Here he explores the world of salsa with Celia Cruz on backing vocals. The song was first used in the film Something Wild, which was directed by Stop Making Sense director Jonathan Demme. Obviously the friendship forged in making the best concert film ever (my humble, but not unique, opinion) remained after the movie. The music? It’ll always be there. That’s what I always say about listening to old music (stuff that came out when my parents were little, in the 1930s): music isn’t milk, it has no expiration date. I LOVE the second album he did with Brian Eno, Everything That Happens Will Happen Today. Unbelievable album IMO.

@FourWalls I find as I get older that my musical taste continues to evolve. I was pretty much Neil Young for 20 years. Now I like classical, country, rock (and I still love Neil young)! i like your phrase - unlike milk music doesn't expire!
