Arpan Chatterjee has a different type of approach as far as folk songs are concerned. He himself is a 'gharana' of folk. One cassette I got, 'Age ki sundar din kataitam' -- all the songs are really beautiful.
Please try it. The only cassette I found in a Kolkata shop. If you ever go to Kolkata, try for it. I have tried to locate his other cassettes, but did not get any.
