Visit from the electrician

So the other day my step-dad broke the pull cord for the bathroom light! So today we had the electrician come to repair it. He was a nice black electrician, very young and polite and my mum fancied him! He also fixed the switch for the light in the kitchen because a while back now one of the switches pinged off when my step-dad switched the light on! One of the hinges that keeps it attached had broken. But my step-dad thought he was clever and he put it back! It was only ledging on by one hinge and was really loose. The electrician said it was dangerous and we needed a completely new set of switches! My step-dad said before the electrician came that he thought it was OK and didn't need fixing! Anyway, they're both fixed now.
