So my phone has been annoying me lately. I have the ZTE Majesty Pro with Tracfone, which was not a planned purchase (long story short, I had an accident with my Tracfone LG Optimus Fuel, and that's all I'm saying). It was fine at first, but it only has 8GB of internal space, and I cannot delete or move the default apps. So of course, that caused my phone to run slowly. One of my nieces introduced me to Honey a year or two ago. You add Honey to your browser, and you can use it to look up and apply the best coupon code to your purchase. I was going to get the LG Rebel 4 with Tracfone (which has 16GB of internal space, and some reviews said they could remove certain apps, which I'll test out this weekend), as they had a reconditioned one for $15. However, you had to choose a service plan, which I already have on my account. I'm actually grandfathered into their $10/month plan, so if I were to cancel and re-sign up, it'd be $15/month. So then I was going to save up for the regular LG Rebel 4 because it was on sale for $30, but they were out of stock and then re-stocked at $40. So, I put the idea out of my mind until after tax season. However, my Mom gave me $40 as an early birthday gift. I put $20 in my NKOTB funds, and I was thinking of putting the other half towards my new phone. For some reason, I decided to check Tracfone's website, and they had the $15 reconditioned phone WITHOUT the requirement of a service plan. I decided to order it tonight before anything changed. This is where Honey comes in. I let it run, and I have no idea what promo it found, but it took the cost down to ZERO. Aaaah! :D I didn't get too excited until it was ordered and I received the confirmation email from Tracfone. So NOW I'm excited! Since I saved $15, I hopped on Amazon Prime and ordered a pink/black case for like, $8. Soooo, I got a new phone and case for just $8 and some change. :D It says the case should be here tomorrow. The phone says 1-3 business days, but it's free Fed-Ex Two-Day shipping, so I'm thinking it'll be more like 2-3 business days. Either way, I'll get them both in time for my birthday. :D Unfortunately, I forgot to order a screen protector, but I'll pick one up (or place an order) this weekend. Until then, I'll be veryyy careful. I don't often get deals like that, so I'm excited. I'm sorry this was a lengthy post, but I tend to tell the story rather than always getting right to the point lol. I'll attach a link to the case I chose for my new Tracfone. I promise there isn't an affiliate/referral link, I'm just posting it to show you guys. I looked through the questions and answers to make sure it fits the Tracfone models, and it does, so yay! :) Welp, I'm out. I'll be back later. See ya, peeps. :) Photo Credit: Pixabay. Here's the link to my new phone case, it's the rose/black one:

Oh, that's fantastic! I have a young friend who's in a rough situation with her family and may need to get a new phone since her parents are threatening to turn hers off, so I'll have to forward this information on to her. I've gotten a few of the LG smartphones back when apps like Perk TV were a big thing. Even the lower-end devices they have are pretty darn good for the price you pay.

Oh no, I hope she's able to get a new one. Definitely tell her about Tracfone, and then Honey. Even if the one she chooses isn't free, Honey may still find a coupon to lower the price. It's a prepaid (pay-as-you-go) company, but they have several affordable plans, starting at $15/month, and smartphones. As of right now, I definitely prefer LG to ZTE. I'll test it out more when it arrives, but I did look up reviews and such, as I always do before buying a phone. The only thing I didn't like about my last LG phone was that it didn't have a front-facing (selfie) camera, but otherwise I had no issues with it, but I broke it by accident and the ZTE Majesty Pro was the only smartphone under Tracfone in my budget (via Walmart) at the time.

@lynnwrites Yeah, so far I'm definitely liking my LG better than the ZTE. Right, what my plan is the same as the $15 one, but it's $10 because I signed up before the price increase. Now if I cancel and re-sign up, I'm paying $15. Like you, I also add more here and there, usually the 1,000 texts for $5. Yikes! I had a similar incident with my Samsung Galaxy Tab A (tablet). I need to get a screen protector for both devices. That's true. I got this phone for pretty much nothing though, $8 if you include the case. It finally arrived on Saturday. I also have the LG Rebel 4 (reconditioned). How are they liking it so far? I love mine.

@tammys85 I've had a few of the ZTE phones and they've never really matched up to what LG produces. My own phone service is through TracFone, and I think $15 is what I typically pay per month. It can fluctuate a bit because I occasionally need to buy more data. My current phone is a Moto E4 Plus. I've been really happy with it, although this is technically my second one. The first one fell victim to my clumsiness when I dropped it and broke the screen. Sometimes it's worth keeping an eye on different retailers' sale prices if you need a new phone. The big retailers like Best Buy, Target, and Walmart all seem to carry different models and every few weeks they have pretty good promotional offers on some of them. (I ended up ordering one of the Rebel 4's for each of my kids using that promotional code, so now they can play Pokemon Go without bugging me for my phone. )

@tammys85 Sounds like a good deal. Do you still have that phone now? Do you like it? I had to get a new phone because something broke on mine. I have had it for a while now but still getting used to it. I am late to smartphone technology.
