If Only For A Moment ...

If only for a moment I could peep into Heaven to see my son. I wouldn't abuse such a gift ... I would do it quietly with respect ... watch, listen to my son ... just for a moment. I would quickly come back ... and hug what I saw, heard to my Heart. Sometimes, I miss my son, Tommy, so very much. It's like yesterday ... and if he were to walk in the room right now ... it'd be like he never left. The idea came to me how to describe such a feeling ... when I leaned over to the other mirror thinking how nice if one could so easily peep into Heaven just for a moment. The photo says it all. I am glad to be very far up the road in my journey where I can bear the pain and it not devastate me anymore. I didn't know such a day could possibly be ... but, that day did come. If for a moment I could peep into Heaven ... hear, see my son ... my Heart would smile reflecting such happiness on my face. Since I can't ... just thinking about it makes me smile, feel happy inside. I can imagine his expression if I did such a thing when he thought it impossible ... he had a special smile and his eyes would widen. I would give anything to see that smile now.
