The universe is very vast and it extends beyond our imagination. The source of all energy on earth is the sun and if the sunlight didn't reach earth then life will not be possible here. But do you know how long it takes for the sunlight to reach earth?
let us know how long it takes for sunlight to reach the different planet.
It takes sunlight an average of 8 minutes and 20 seconds to travel from the Sun to the Earth.
It takes an average of 12 minutes for sunlight when it reaches from the sun to mars.
the same process takes 43 minutes incase of Jupiter. and around 5 hours in the case of Pluto.
Did you aware of it?

I don't know very many scientific facts about the sun. But I do remember my late mother saying to me as a child: "When man makes something, it breaks. Like the light bulb. But you see the sun in the sky? God put it up there and it's been working ever since. When God make something, it don't break!" I'm guessing that's a scientific fact.
