I woke up this morning to a few dozen notifications from my Tumblr app. Most of them are from the ficlet I posted before I went to bed, but a few people have found and reblogged some of my other pieces of short fiction, too. I love when this happens because it always inspires me to do something with my works in progress, even if I don't post the results publicly right away. Today I'm going to try to focus on a piece I've been (mostly) neglecting for a couple months; I've done some editing on it in that time, but aside from that it's been at a standstill even though I know in general how I want it to go. Time to fix that!
