The famous Taal Volcano in our country erupted yesterday and it brought panic to all the provinces near it. Thousands of people were already evacuated and secured in the evacuation centers.
There were many scary reports in the news. Accidents had been reported due to the zero visibility caused by the ash fall with rain.
As of today, classes and work are suspended as the smell of the ash posed danger to human health.

My daughter was stranded in Mactan last night as all flights to and from Manila for local and international were cancelled. She rebooked via Clark and, at the moment, her plane has arrived. She hopes international flights will resume by tomorrow for her flight back here in NZ in the evening and I’m praying for that.

Thanks for your prayers. Ms. Cheri. My daughter is stranded again in Manila as she received an email from Qantas that her flight fir tonight has been cancelled and that she has been moved to a flight on Friday. She is supposed to be back to work on Friday. Also, she had to look for another place to stay because her AirBnb booking is only up to today and somebody is coming over to the place. Good thing she has found another one nearby so she has left her things at the reception desk of the new place while she went to Greenbelt for lunch.I’m also praying that her flight on Friday will push through. I also hope our flight back to the Philippines next week won’t be moved; otherwise, we will be overstaying our visa. I hope you and your family are safe from the ashes of Taal.

Yes. I heard about it on our news in America. Sounds very scary. Good thing the folks in charge are doing the right thing getting people to safety.

We are not directly affected and we are very far from Taal Volcano. I feel so sad when I look at the effect of the eruption to nearby towns. Everything is covered by ash and the roads are messy

It should be suspended because ash could poison almost every body.
