From Fire Tornado to Volcanic Lightning.

My daughter woke me up last night, to ask if I was tuning in to the news. "Why?," I asked as I struggled to open my eyes. She then alerted me about Taal Volcano spewing ash. "Oh, that? Yes, I know," I responded. "Have you taken the necessary precautions? Have you masks? Water? Food? Are your windows already closed?" A rapid fire interrogation. Answered in the affirmative as my head was trying to keep up. "Then go cover Buzz." That's my old car. I didn't argue any longer. Legs wobbly, I pulled out an old bed sheet and made my way to the garage. Gosh it was dark. Then I made a cup of coffee and turned the internet on for the news. The reports were feeding panic mode for face masks, an exodus back to Manila, mandatory evacuation, etcetera. I whispered a prayer. My daughter did agree with me when Australia burned that we really are in the age of Tribulation. I told her that I didn't think the Philippines will have our share of a major disaster, for we have been having earthquakes and super typhoons already. Apparently, I was wrong. The phenomenal occurrences have given us new terminologies such as fire tornado in Australia and volcanic lightning right here in my supposedly comfort zone. Watch the video for the seemingly wondrous lightnings. Oh, by the way, I spent my whole morning getting rid of the ash that had fallen on my abode.
Let us help the people who are heavily hitted by the taal volcano's eruption. #taalvolcano #philippines

There's also lots of ash here from the volcano eruption. We still need to clean the roof.

@eileenleyva as per the news, the ash may clog the down spout of the roof so it should be cleaned. That's my task for today.

@Alexandoy There was a little rain yesterday. I hope that washes the ash away from my roof. My down spouts are mostly non-functional. The drains have rusted. I have no wish of drains, actually. I love watching the rain forming a water curtain when it drops from the roof eaves.

Well yeah and now we are under threat of the Corona Virus pandemic happening worldwide. Sometimes the end times scenario plays in my mind and kind of scare me a bit. But as my wife says as long as we are together that is what is important in this point in time.

@eileenleyva Yeah I heard that one a long time ago and even watch a youtube video of it back then. I think if that is really true then we cannot do anything about it but play being part of it.

@rsa101 The prophecy has come. Brace your self for more. Combat the enemy through prayers, good deeds, and spreading the good news. Be brave. A Christian must always be ready for combat, even if it means our lives.

@louievill Pray the Rosary fervently. Spread the Good News. The battle of Good versus evil is on-going. We cannot allow the beast to devour our neighbors.

@eileenleyva hope we and our families would both be part of the third. Pharoah still does not see what cursing God can do to a country

the natural disaster are something we are not in control of. I learn a lot of new terminologies while watching Philvocs explanation: phreatic eruption, steam eruption, phreatomagmatic and more Where is your daughter located?

Yup. Listening to Philvolcs, especially Renato Solidum, is like sitting in a class lecture - very calming and educational. We get to have a better understanding of what is happening. My daughter is in London still.

As they say, the natural calamities are acts of God. We cannot question why such calamities happen but we could be better stewards of nature. If we do our own share of helping the environment, perhaps our planet earth will not react in such hostility.

I wonder if God is really angry if he allows calamities and disasters. I think no fatalities in this eruption

Man has been very abusive of the free will we were given. We have become irresponsible stewards of nature, including our very own being. The evil man indulges on are offensive even to our fellow man. God is hurt.

Not very near. I live at the foot of the Sierra Madre. Received ash but not as thick as the ones in the nearby towns.

True. My daughter sent me a message telling that 27 volcanoes did erupt simultaneously with our Taal.
