Two hikers who were hiking in the Devil's Den nature preserve in Weston
Connecticut are thankful to be alive and well when they contacted the authorities to rescue them when they got lost hiking on Sunday afternoon.
The dispatcher sent members of the Weston Volunteer Fire Department as well as some police officers to locate the couple in about 45 minutes after the police and firefighters arrived on the scene of the incident with the use of a utility terrain vehicle to assist them in finding the lost couple quickly.
The couple are in good spirits after their hike in the Devil's Den nature preserve turned into an adventure that will remember for a long time.

I am glad that they are all right but the more I hear about people getting into trouble while hiking I think I will pass on the hiking and just walk through a regular park

I agree with you since hiking in such a huge place is scary for me to handle.

I agree with you since a hiker should have a map handy with them.
