Will first contact with aliens be as we think?

Star Wars and Star Trek have big impact about our idea how aliens should look and how First contact should be made. Probably in Reality it won't be as that. First aliens can be even some Animals or more probably bacteria. Probably real aliens will not look not even close to us. What do you think about First contact?

I've thought about that too. And maybe they'll breathe nitrogen, and have totally different senses (sight, smell, etc.) than we have.
