Missing my cousin

My cousin is currently in France for placement with his degree. We aren't really that close but when we talk or see each other it feels like we are. We look semi identical and I am always told how much I look like him, behave like him, talk like him and even how I carry myself. We also have the same beliefs, political views, social views, music tastes, video-game interests, and movie interests
It's amazing and funny how people that rarely see each other can have so much in common with one another and even have the same mannerisms and demeanor. When I do see him we pick things up where we left off somewhat chatty albeit with a number of awkward silences in the beginning.
Because of the time difference and the amount of work he is doing we don't get much of a chance to chat. Hopefully he will be chatty come the weekend.

That's nice that you have a cousin whom you are somewhat close to. It almost sounds like he is a best friend type of person.

@Fa_Maverick Well, everybody has to have a best friend, don't they? I mean, I guess you don't have to, but it seems like everyone has at least one friend they are closer to than all the others.

@moffittjc I don't have a best friend after being hurt by my at the time 'best friend' in Primary School. And never will have again

It`s nice to have some close cousin especially when you enjoy being with each other. I`m sure your cousin miss you too.

It is. I need to make the effort to see him more. If I had the money I'd go to France and surprise him while also meeting my friend I met online

@Pandy_ Yeah I know it is. I did go over to Japan when I was a teenager and it broke the bank a bit even though it was a discounted study tour
