Hating can't make you forget.....

Many times, I have heard people saying "I hate him/her, I want to forget." What I think, by hating we really can't forget people. If we hate them, hold a grudge, we can't keep them out of our heart.Everything and everyone that you hate is engraved upon your heart;since hate is equally strong feeling like love, if we wish to let go of something, hating is not a solution. Isn't it?

Learning to forgive is a better alternative. Carrying a grudge continue to cloud our judgment. As the saying goes, "Don't sweat the small stuff". If you think about it, majority of our misunderstanding with other people are about "small stuff".

Quite ideal to hear those words but I think hating is part of us... And there are times that we really feel we hate someone. Maybe someone that hurt us even not physically but verbally. At the end of the day though, it is our choice if we choose to alleviate the feelings or make it into another level which is definitely not the right choice.

@Aansh13 It is like this for me. A hate can be a wound that can be healed but when that person causes us something bad again or that someone tricks us again for sure we can remember that old wound because the scars is always there...

Yes you are right. You can't correct the wrong doing done to you by someone by hating him. It is better to forget to get mental piece for himself.

It's difficult sometimes but you have to move on. I've had people hurt me in the past to the point that I was so angry and filled with hatred towards them. But it didn't change them or the situation so I just had to continue on.

Yeah! I mean our hate changes nothing around, not the people, not the situation instead it eats our peace...

It is not good to hate other people , but not everybody can get on well because we all have our differences. It is best to put people out of your mind if you do not get on with them, then you can forget them and move on.
