Breaking News This Morning for the Carolina Panthers

Announced just this morning, Luke Kuechly is retiring after 8 seasons in the NFL with the Carolina Panthers. He didn't specify his reasons. Talking to a few people that are close to him, it was a decision that was made between a few days to a week ago and it was the hardest decision he's made so far in his life. Though his reasons were not specifically given, we all concluded that it was for medical reasons that he needed to bow out. The game is loosing another great one this year. I was so bummed about his retiring! I really like Luke, but I think the concussions scared him pretty deeply (as they should). Carolina has so much in the air with Cam Newton so this is one more thing to figure out how to overcome.
