On what basis would you give a "thumbs up/ likes" for a post/response/comments on myLot???

@Teekaaa To like something here is to like a post someone wrote. I did not know we had a thumbs up here. I have never used a thumbs up here. In Facebook people have given me a thumbs-up sign so I say ti back to them. Thanks for sharing this with us.

That's your right or privilege. I do give like for I read it and a matter of respect. I give emoticons when I am running out of words.

Whichever feels interesting I would give a like.

I like everything that is positive.

I have a criteria similar to yours.... Since love to read and I appreciate what's written, so anything that draws my attention, I give thumbs up...

I like what I feel deserves a like and cannot explain that

I use thumbs up to let the other guy or gal on the line know that I read what he or she wrote with out really meaning that I conform with what he or she said. For me it's just another form of courtesy on this site ( my parents raised me to be always courteous whenever possible) that is personal for me and I don't know if other members think or practices what I do ( which is just fine) I don't really think that thumbs up here is is like thumbs up in Facebook but again it's just me and I do not mind if members do not thumbs up what I said so long as we interact. On the financial side, I'm not sure if thumbs up is included in the payment algorithm, nevertheless there are instances when I like something but have nothing more to say or I read something, cannot really relate but I see the effort given into the discussion so might as well like to at least not let it go down as another discussion with no responses, at least there is a like. I find people who just continually like without responding rude ( i said continually), not reciprocating my effort or or no reaction, it's a small amount you know but still it's interaction that makes us the little something, sorry but I avoid discussions of such members.

It is very simple for me, I just like it or not.

I like a post if its content is engaging to me no matter short or long it is. I generally comment when I like someone's post
