So here's my story. Netflix put a Korean Drama series in their database. It was my first time watching a K-drama TV series and I really enjoyed it. In fact, I rewatched it several times. I had to rewatch it because Netflix just didn't have enough historical period Korean dramas to keep me entertained. Since I had been bitten by the "K-drama bug", I had to go find my "fix" elsewhere. I started watching them at those streaming sites like Viki and Drama Fever. Anyway! Later on, Netflix has added some more Korean dramas into their database but by then it was too late! Because Netflix also added the original Star Trek series and all of the Star Trek spin offs. I got hooked on them! For some reason, which I can not explain, I keep rewatching the Star Trek episodes! Even though there are some Korean dramas that I keep saying I am going to watch but I start them and then ... go back to Star Trek. Well for one thing, I don't have concentrate so hard because Star Trek is in English. With the K-dramas I have to read the English subtitles to keep up. But that didn't matter before. I read the subtitles in the beginning when I first started watching them. At one time I was very addicted to the K-dramas. There are a couple of K-dramas in the database that I keep saying I'm going to watch. But now it's like I just can't enough Star Trek. Why do I keep rewatching the Star Trek episodes? WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?? CAN I BE CURED?

I have worked my way through all the Star Trek on the UK Netflix, except for Discovery. I didn't take to that one. Sadly, they pulled Grimm from the list. The only fantasy series I liked

I also didn't take to Star Trek Discovery. I'm glad you said that. I thought it was just me.

@tallawah Don't know if I'd go that far, but I feel roughly the same!

Every now and then most of us do get hooked on one show or another. It seems as though we can't get enough of them. The4re is not a thing wrong with you. Enjoy your current addiction to Star Trek.

There is nothing wrong with you. You can concentrate watching Star Trek in original language. With K drama, you have to read while watching. For me, it is annoying to read while watching a movie. I have not watched K drama, yet.
