I Blame Star Trek!

So here's my story. Netflix put a Korean Drama series in their database. It was my first time watching a K-drama TV series and I really enjoyed it. In fact, I rewatched it several times. I had to rewatch it because Netflix just didn't have enough historical period Korean dramas to keep me entertained. Since I had been bitten by the "K-drama bug", I had to go find my "fix" elsewhere. I started watching them at those streaming sites like Viki and Drama Fever.
Anyway! Later on, Netflix has added some more Korean dramas into their database but by then it was too late! Because Netflix also added the original Star Trek series and all of the Star Trek spin offs. I got hooked on them!
For some reason, which I can not explain, I keep rewatching the Star Trek episodes! Even though there are some Korean dramas that I keep saying I am going to watch but I start them and then ... go back to Star Trek.
Well for one thing, I don't have concentrate so hard because Star Trek is in English. With the K-dramas I have to read the English subtitles to keep up. But that didn't matter before. I read the subtitles in the beginning when I first started watching them.
At one time I was very addicted to the K-dramas. There are a couple of K-dramas in the database that I keep saying I'm going to watch. But now it's like I just can't enough Star Trek. Why do I keep rewatching the Star Trek episodes?
WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?? CAN I BE CURED?

I also didn't take to Star Trek Discovery. I'm glad you said that. I thought it was just me.
