How you cut down plastic use?

I have cut down atleast 50-60% of plastic use in my house. I hate using it anymore now since the day I saw how much harm we have caused to our planet.
My country is taking initiative to make a road using all the plastic waste. Which is such a good thing. Is your country taking any such initiative as well?
I would love to hear what you or your country is doing to stop down plastic from entering the oceans?

I am sorry to say that we cannot escape from plastic. It is actually the senseless disposal that is destroying the environment and not the use of it. Can you imagine how the economy will move without plastic?

I think if we are still going to think about how economy will work without a material that is causing massive extinction of animals and also being destructive for our health. It will be pointless over discussing on how to curb usage. It’s sad that we are not even trying to think on the other side.

@Alexandoy That is what my husband says too. He says it’s the common man that struggles genuinely but all these bans and rally’s ae a political game

@Archie0 pardon me for this opinion but what I see about those banning the plastic is just a hype to get attention especially for the politicians. They banned the plastic grocery bags, that's fine. But now they are using the paper grocery bag. Did we save for the environment?

Good for you. like you, I have cut down my plastic use as well. Here the supermarkets don't give plastic bags anymore. But even before that, I used to bring my ecobag when shopping. and if I buy food from the street (very common here) I bring my own box (tupperware) instead of putting the cooked food in the plastic bag, they put directly in the box.

I am almost stops single use plastic and using paper or cloth bag or I don't prefer to buy shopping big Polythene bags

Yes everyone is doing it's bit and government already banned the plastic polythene bags and am trying to avoid plastic as much as I can
