Hello again, myLot ! I took my dog for a walk, and then when I got home there was a message on my machine from the pastor's wife. I called her back, and she said she'd be by about ten a.m. So, we went shopping, and I had my first "adventure" with my EBT (Food Stamp) card--turns out it doesn't work on non-food items. Oops. The cashier had to help me out a bit, and it was a little embarrassing 'cause there were people waiting behind me--but, live and learn. Out of $100+ dollars, I only had to pay eighteen and change out of pocket. To top it off, the receipt said that I had 200+ bucks left on my card balance, and I didn't even think I had that much on my card ! The Lord is certainly good. I'm going to have to figure out how to get on the card website (where I can check my balance) and see how that works. So, now I have some more food and things in the house, and now I need to go and post about the thing I mentioned this morning...
