He names them the Sandwich Islands. 1896 - An X-ray generating machine is exhibited for the first time. 1955 - Kevin Costner was born. He is an American actor, director and producer. Some of his movies: Untouchables, Bull Durham, Field of Dreams, Dances With Wolves, JFK, The Bodyguard and Waterworld.
