When someone points you out in public.....

Hey Good Morning!!!!
While I was travelling to office today morning, one of the fellow passenger pointed me, asking me to cut down my volume while I was talking over the call. I got a call from the bank, asking documents and since I wasn't audible I was speaking in high volume.
There were hundreds of passengers around, but none said anything, plus I haven't seen anyone doing that, because may be it isn't a good gesture.
Anyways, I just cut down my volume and continued to talk, but how would you have responded to her....????

I hope you were not driving when you took that call. I generally ask them to call me later if I am in traffic or I just call them when I can.

Just follow her bid. Next if I were you, I would use earphone for it's a public place.

if it's an important call i'd rather find a quiet place to take it.

It is strange to expect people to talk in low voices in public transport sometimes, because there could be network issue or surrounding sound...however if that had happened to me ..I would have definitely seen the way he asked me to lower my volume. Then would have responded accordingly.

i think its a very bad gesture . it can be used but maybe for really rare situations , and especially for kids..
i really hate it if someone does that to me.. i think if you wanna warn someone, using eyes first is the best way and then kindly talk ,but pointing, no my friend , i don't like it..
