My friend gave me a great idea to try. Get a loaf of bread, a carton of eggs and a little bit of milk. Then make all of it into french toast adding cinnamon or how ever you like to season your french toast. Cut many pieces of wax paper into sizes that are about the same as each slice of bread. Be sure to let the pieces to cool, then place them back into the bag putting a piece of waxed paper in between each slice. Tie the bag shut and put it in the freezer. Works great when the grandkids come and I can just take a slice out and put it in the toaster on the higher setting. (Remember to turn the setting back down so you don't burn your regular toast, lol)

This sounds like a great way to save time and money. I love French toast, but it is quite messy to make and that puts me off making it much.

Exactly, why you should do it this way. You only have the mess once for many enjoyments of the homemade french toast.
