That is the name of the pet store that holds gerbils, and guinea pigs, rats, and pet snakes. Cats and dogs are there as well, though not placed together. You can find yourself the owner of a bearded dragon if you were so inclined, and if not, there's plenty of fish to choose from as well.
If none of those things are your style, there are parakeets and other small birds, all in pretty colors.
Maybe you aren't in the market for any animals, maybe you already have one or two of your own. You can find plenty of food, treats, clothes, bowls, leashes, litter trays, etc.
And then I woke up..

I'm kidding! No, I actually went to this pet store after eating lunch today. I love looking at them, but if I was looking to get a pet, I'd prefer to rescue one.

@ScribbledAdNauseum And if it were a dream, it would've been a friendly one

I realized the way I was writing this, it sort of sounded like a dream..
I loved the name of the pet store, "Friendly Pets". It's on a road called Friendly Avenue hence the name.

I sometimes linger at a pet store too to admire the puppies. The mall where we go for the grooming of our dogs is a pet center - many pet shops and salons. They have almost all kinds of pets and accessories including pet food and medicines.

@ScribbledAdNauseum yes I understand I no longer like animals being bred to sell in pet stores. To many animals already need homes.

@shaggin Yes, too many need homes, and noone really needs a special breed (crossbred). A lot of those crossbred animals end up having health problems, and / or are just dumb.. Not a fault of their own.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I liked going and seeing the kittens don’t like snakes

@Tina30219 Yea, I am not a fan of snakes either. My sister loved them when we were growing up.

When I was a little girl there was a pet store near where my grandfather went to get comics. I would go with him and after waiting (impatiently) for him to get done at the comic book store, he would take me to the pet store to look at the pets. My sister or brother would sometimes go, and I was allowed to go to the store with them.

I always wanted to rescue a puppy, but can't here. I use to love going to the pet stores to look at the fish, birds and hamsters.

Yes, there were two cute little husky pups that I wish I could have taken home. I would rather rescue anyway, but they were so cute. I'd have to get a small pet, but trust me, I really was considering getting a ferret or a guinea pig.

@Courtlynn Yes, see I don't like the idea of having a pet that doesn't have a long life span.

It would have to be something relatively small that could be confined to my room. I wouldn't mind having something like a gerbil or a ferret, but that would also require me to have money to get food and things for the animal..

@amitkokiladitya I have considered a fish, but I would want something that I could interact with and touch.

Pet stores, like the one I went to, like to have crossbred dogs and over price them. I feel so sorry for those animals, but I won't support a pet store like that. I'd rather go to the pound and get a cat or dog that needs a little extra love and care.

My best friend has rescued the majority of her pets, and not from the pound but from the roadside.

I can't do that, unfortunately.. Not unless it's a pet that would mostly stay in a cage.

@LindaOHio I agree. I would not be getting a cat or a dog. It would be something like a ferret, gerbil or guinea pig.. But even those pets don't deserve to be caged all the time.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I wouldn't like to have a pet caged all the time, especially if it was a dog.
