Few errands and food ordering app....

Yesterday I could not come to mylot in the afternoon. I had to finish few important errands and that kept me busy. My elder daughter has a High School farewell on first Sunday of February. Girls have to wear traditional dress sari. I have a good collection of sari but she wanted something different. So we went out to do the purchase.
I took her to couple of my favorite sari destination. And glad she liked one of the sari that was really good and in my budget. I took my younger one also with me as after the purchase I dropped her to music class. And I and my elder daughter could finish a little more shopping in the neighborhood of the music class. We bought some accessories to go along with the sari. And also visited the tailor to get her blouse stitched. We dropped my husband's coat and jacket at dry cleaners.
On our way back after picking up my younger one, we got caught in the traffic for two hours for a mere stretch of 3Kms just before our house. 
A pipe had burst and the road was flooded. This must have happened in the evening. I didn't notice anything in the afternoon when we left for shopping. And to make the situation worse one small van carrying eggs broke down in the middle of the road in the water puddle.
When I reached home around 8:45 in the night, I was welcomed by two unexpected guests. Our relationship manager and his colleague from our bank were there. Husband had called them for evening tea and poor fellows got stuck in the same traffic and got delayed. Seeing the traffic condition, we were sure they would reach their home pretty late. So husband offered them dinner. Glad that he used his food delivery app, he ordered some food from nearby Chinese restaurant. He was smart to order it in time and the delivery boy took one hour to come. But he came a few minutes after us.
We all enjoyed the momos, spring rolls and noodles for our dinner. I was too tired to do anything else. And I just got ready for bed.
It's bright Tuesday morning and it's a little hot today. I am here for another hour and I will be all focused to mylot till my alarm says it's time to leave for work.

Her pre board has ended today and second pre board starts on 29 jan. Board exams start from 26 Feb and end on 15 March.
She could have used one of my sarees. But she wanted one. Anyway she will use it in other occasions. She is very much into activities like hosting a show in school or my apartment or even at our fund raising events. She will get it used up. I can also use the sari. And with that blouse she can wear two of my sarees and she likes them.

We hardly use food ordering app. We are not much into eating outside food and we generally go out on special occasions. But it was definitely a savior that day.
