Day 168 Promise 219 Psalm 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them who walk uprightly. 12 O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in thee. What is your life like? Do you feel burdened by trouble, hemmed in by circumstances beyond your control? Or is yours an easy life, you have everything you need and want for nothing? This psalm was written by the sons of Korah, one of the priests of Israel. They saw God’s hand of blessing on all those who put their trust in God. They said, God didn’t withhold anything good from them. As Christians, do you trust God to meet your needs? Is your life one of blessing or are you looking for God’s favor on your life? Many Christians don’t feel worthy of God’s grace and favor on their lives, so don’t seek His blessing and seem to prefer to wallow in lack. God promised you He wouldn’t withhold anything from you because you are His child. You accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord. That alone makes you worthy of ALL God’s blessings. Paul reminded the church at Philippi that God would meet all their needs. Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (KJV) God won’t supply some of your need, or determine whether you are good enough to receive His blessing. No, God WILL supply ALL your need according to His riches by Christ Jesus. Not according to what you did or didn’t do, or what you have or don’t have. It’s according to what He has. His riches far surpass your imagination. God won’t withhold anything good. If you need it, if you desire it, and you trust Him for it, it’s yours. It’s as simple as that. David told the people how they would receive God’s blessing. Psalm 37:3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. 4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. 5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. 6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. (KJV) Just as God’s salvation is easy and free, God’s blessing is yours when you trust Him, believe in Him, delight in Him, and commit yourself to Him. He won’t withhold anything from those who walk uprightly. Let’s pray: Father, I know I feel unworthy of Your blessing. Help me accept Your promise to bless me because I trust in You, believe in You, and committed my life to You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. The wording is slightly different where I read it but its the same no good thing will he withhold from those whose walki is blameless also he encompasses me with songs of deliverance hence I find singing that kind of thing goes much deeper. I think that we were born into a time that we were made to feel the way we did and do. All in all my favourite words or sayings for me at least.

Different versions are worded differently, but they all mean the same thing. King James is Public Domain. So, I need to use that version here. It's also my favorite version. When you sing God's Word, it brings it closer and yes, has more meaning. I hope your day has been blessed.
