I am so disturbed...

The thought of it still gives me a chill. I can still feel myself palpitating when I recall the incident. This happened today when I went to pick up my daughter. Luckily my daughter was not there else it would have traumatized her.
There is a deviation on the main road a few blocks from my daughter's school. Due to construction work the traffic is deviated. So in last few days I discovered this new route to her school. It's a little long but has hardly any traffic. Though I need to take a lot of turns and need to remember them. But I love the empty roads and the greenery on sides. It's a posh residential area with lavish houses. Many of city's well known business man, politicians and cine stars reside there. In fact the residence of our ex chief minister is also around the corner. All these houses have their own security personnel and a Beware of Dog sign.
While I was driving across these beautiful roads, all of a sudden a youth in his 20 came out of one of the huge gate of a house and fell in front of my car. I put a sudden brake and he was saved. Two more people came aggressively out of the house and thrashed him and kicked him. I was shocked and could not move my car. Suddenly a black luxurious car came in speed from the opposite side of the road and made a sudden stop. It saved hitting my car. The youth was pulled from the road and pushed forcibly to the car and then once all inside, it sped like a jet. One of the goon who was hitting, pulled the window down and banged on my window. He gave me an intimidating look and rudely said me to move without any delay.
I gathered my nerve and drove to my daughters school that was just half a kilometer away from there. I did not take the route back home. I could sense my heavy breath and sweating. I tried to stay calm and not scare my children. Back home I received a call from my mom. My father's brother had a bad fall from stairs and has multiple fracture in hand, shoulders and hip. He was admitted to hospital and needs a long surgery to fix rods. That even worsened my mood. I could not share the incident with my mom.
I called my husband but he didn't pick up. He messaged that if it's not something urgent, he will talk when he is back. And he has a late meeting and would be home around 11 in the night. I had a burden on my heart, needed to share with someone. I got a severe headache and had to take a nap. That did help me to calm a bit.
But I am still so disturbed. It was a scary day

Thank you Dear. I was shaken and could not even sleep in the night. I was a little uneasy even today and felt sick.

@amitkokiladitya I did in the morning. He told that it might not be something serious else it would have come in newspaper. But maybe some personal affairs. These rich people and political people have many skeletons in their closet. He asked me to relax. I had a full day work today from morning 8_3 and so I got time to get distracted. But today I asked my friends husband to take turn for picking and dropping kids.

@arunima25 I hope it can get down so he can have the surgery.
Yes, it does sound bizarre enough for the movie screen.

It was tough to believe that it actually happened. I have only seen scenes like that on screen. My uncle is on antibiotics and painkillers. They have to bring down the sugar to normal level before surgery. Maybe it will happen today afternoon.

Children would have been too shocked if they were in car. I am still not completely fine. Even now I am shocked to realise that it actually happened.

Actually Dianne, I felt the same. I was frozen. It took me some time to realize that this actually happened. I was uneasy the whole night and even today I am not so well

@DianneN Yes. It will take some time.
My uncle has been admitted to hospital. Now that all his reports and tests are over, he will undergo a surgery tomorrow.
