Home Repair Update 1/21/20

The house is quietly sitting there waiting for someone to come and turn the heat on. The furnace was turned off when the basement flooded last year. It has not been turned back on. Temps were in the teens a couple of days ago. The water was turned off at the house about a year ago because there is a leak in the kitchen sink. I bought a new faucet; but it has not been installed yet. The house still needs to be emptied out; and the ceiling in the two rooms and wall in another need to be repaired. All for now. I doubt it. I told my husband that he will pass away; and I will be stuck with dealing with that house.

Hopefully, you can get ALL that taken care of before summer and sell that house. It sounds like a money pit.

Sounds like a lot of work ahead for this house. Flooding can cause such damage.
