Little green thing

A few days ago while two of my dogs were at the back yard, I saw this grass hopper hanging out on the stairs.
When I saw it twice I showed to my grandma and she was fascinated by it. Since the dogs came back he wasn't around much. But there's another green thing hanging on the wall and I will take a picture of it later.
It's probably hiding in one of "green plants"

Wow it's been sometime that I saw one like that. But I hope they are not plentiful since if they are then they become pest to the farmers. I have seen a lot of that in my younger years and farmers hate them around their farms since they eat the leaves of their crops and if they come in hordes they decimate all of the plants.

Hello @rsa101 my dogs at the back were the biggest pest to my plants. I don't see it anymore. Glad i don't have a farm.

I wish I could see some green things here. It is too cold for them right now.

The grasshopper is just fine for the dogs although I know that there are dogs that will chase that green thing that hops.

That insect is never around when the dogs are there @Alexandoy They will chew it out once they capture it.

@Letranknight2015 I guess they will do that because one of our dogs would chase the fly when it gets into our home.
