It Must be the Flu

One week ago today, I felt a strange tickle down in my chest. It gave me the urge to cough, but it wasn't too bad. Within a few hours, I had body aches and chills with a low grade fever.
Over the next few days, I was so sick I could barely get out of bed. I had a dry, hacky cough, tight chest, nasal congestion, no appetite, light-headedness, continued body aches/chills.
Yesterday and today, I've been able to do easy household chores, if I'm not on my feet too long. I still need a nap and ibuprofen though.
My cough/chest congestion FINALLY loosened up this morning. I was starting to worry that I had pneumonia!
I never went to the doc. If this is a flu virus as I suspect, I know it just has to run its course. I read that 7-10 days is typical. I'm relieved to be getting a bit better every day.

Thank you @crazyhorseladycx. I actually got out of the house today after a week of being in! Still low on energy though.
I still don't have my appetite back completely either, but I make myself eat. Sorry your husband was sick so long.
