Coronavirus is serious.

Quick chat with my daughter reminding her to wear a mask as coronavirus is once again hitting the news, this time, on a global scale. The origin is, sadly, China again. My daughter said the UK has screened nationals in Scotland and thus far, no case confirmed.
Coronavirus is deadly and must be a cause for concern. Considering the already ailing state of our planet, an outbreak of a disease would mean a definitive doomsday scenario.

Wuhan City in China is very popular now because of the epidemic there. I hope it wouldn't come to the Philippines.

@Alexandoy Advisories were given yesterday, I think, about the Cebu Pacific flight that transported Chinese whose family was infected.
Take the necessary precautions. Keep indoors till this is over.

@eileenleyva that's why it is scary to think that the virus can easily come over. There are too many Chinese here coming and going all the time.

@eileenleyva True just stay clear of anyone having the symptom. If you are exposed to them maintain good hygiene and have a good and healthy diet. Those are the things we can only do to protect ourselves from them. But if your the unlucky one despite that then we are helpless but put our trust in God and the doctors to heal you up.

@rsa101 Yes, that's exactly our only recourse. I still pray we are spared of such a horrible situation.

The viruses are disconcerting. I could live with the ash fall and simply clean, no matter how tiring, but the virus, how can we live with that when it's meant to kill us?

@marguicha That is good advice. My country, however, has not learned how to protect our shores and our people from China.

The Chinese are irrepressible. They move places quickly. Domestic source says a plane load of Chinese from Wuhan landed in my country. Grrrrr.

@florelway Yes. That is true. Scary times. Replenishing my food stock today. Facebook has it a nuke-like Taal eruption is imminent. The West Valley Fault would definitely be moved. I'm dwelling literally a kilometer away from that line. Hu hu. The good Lord forbid.
Take extra care, dear friend.

@eileenleyva everything is unpredictable now. Last Tuesday my staff panicked because there was a tsunami alert in our place which turned out as a fake news. Our fisherfolks just noticed an unusual big wave in our white island.

Thank you for reminding me. I buy ready made food often. Now I would have to abstain from that and simply prepare my own food.

I was avoiding the pandemic, my other daughter warned me to be cautious in using the term. But yes, that word is unavoidable. You are right. We must pray the coronavirus be kept contained in Wuhan.
