Back from work.....

I worked full time from 8AM to 2:30 PM on last two days on Wednesday and Thursday. The other mother came forward to drop children to school in the morning so that I could leave early for work. I picked them up in the afternoon after my work. Today also I had morning work from 8AM to 11 AM. And so I am back home after work. Other than my usual work with my two students, I helped teachers to put up with their Annual Day function on coming Monday and the graduation of the Montessori children that is today in the evening at 5. I helped them with my artistic work for their backdrops, props and general decorations. And it was fun as I always enjoy doing them and have a lot over years as teacher. Since most of the teachers in Middle and High School are busy with rehearsal and also test preparation, I am happy that I could help them as a part of community. Today I worked with my children from 8_9:40AM and then helped to put up the stage for the graduation ceremony upstairs on the terrace. Since it's a small gathering, terrace is good enough. For the annual day, they are putting up things in football ground. All is done and looks good. I took a few pics but they are not loading up here due to their size thing. I will try to put them with other discussion. As a token of thanks for the help that I did, one Montessori teacher brought me these home made sweets. The picture got uploaded easily here. It is called Uniyappam and is made from fresh ripe bananas. I brought it home and tasted one. It's yummy! And I can have a few as it uses only banana as sweetner and no sugar. She has added a few drops of honey though. Now I earn myself two extra holidays. Monday and Tuesday are holidays on account of their Annual Day celebration. I am already in a mood for long weekend. I am sure for many the weekend mood would have set in
