I see a few folks on here that like me, have cat owners. I call mine a puppycat because I'm a dog lover in denial. Really he's my Jack and maybe some of you have some safe tips. I'm sitting here lotting this morning checking my notifs. when all the sudden I hear a bang at the window and birds screeching like crazy. I knew what it was before I pulled the curtain back. Sure enough, he got another one. And not just any run of the mill blackbird this time it was a blue jay and they were to say the very least, Mad! And he knows it by the look in his eyes. As big as I've ever seen them and butting the window with his face. The poor bird is being rubbed back and forth across the half ripped screen. And I have an unreasonable fear of birds there was no way I'm opening the window to a bunch of mad birds. So he's still got the poor thing in his mouth. If I didn't hurry I'm afraid the shoe was going to be on the other foot for my dear Jack. The best I could do was grab a towel and threw it over both him and the bird. At which time he finally drops it. He just loves to hunt. That is natural to him. I was told neutering him would help, but that hasn't shown many results. I guess it's going to be a trip to the vet. I just don't want to break his little spirit. I know he's bringing them to me like "look what I did aren't I a good boy" but I think he's a good boy without the feathers.
