Silas Oliver is out to make a name for himself, and he brings his best friend / brother Will along for the ride. Mr. Oliver's father owns a successful and well known pharmacy, a company that Silas thought he would one day take over. However, his father had other plans, choosing his lazy, non-committal younger brother to take over the reigns of the company. It sounds like an interesting read. I would not be mad but I would certainly be disappointed if I were hard working and the other person in question was lazy

It is a really good book. Goodreads has a few mixed reviews on it, but the story really flows well. Honestly,I could read it one day if I let myself. Have you found that library yet?

@RasmaSandra Yes, I've heard that Florida is unseasonably cold now. We've been impacted by the same cold front.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I will try next week. A cold front came and the weather was freezing with wild winds. Now it is warm again so I'll have time to walk.

Maybe you've read it before? I am not sure when the author wrote it. It could also be that the character sounds familiar, I am sure there are lots of books and movies that have similar plots to this.
