It is amazing that the joke of police officers going to donut shops to get their meal turned out to be a blessing for a four year old boy named Logan who is in the company of his parents at the Colonial Donuts in Taunton Massachusetts.
A Massachusetts State Trooper was in line waiting to be served when he found that Logan was celebrating his fourth birthday at the donut shop.
The trooper whose name was not known by Logan's family decided to gift Logan a birthday present he would not forget.
After the state trooper wished Logan a happy birthday, he asked Logan which 12 donuts he wanted to purchase.
Logan pointed out to the state trooper which donuts he wanted to purchase. Then the state trooper paid the food bill out of his own pocket which made Logan and his parents very happy that a stranger opened up his heart of kindness to pay for the donuts for a birthday child.
The Massachusetts State Police are thankful the Logan's family was kind enough to send them a thank you message since the police appreciate any kind words coming from the people that have taken an oath to serve and protect.

Does that mean the good samaritan remains incognito? What a kind man.

The name of the state trooper was not mentioned since I guess the parents of Logan were too shocked to ask him his name.

It is a very good gesture from a police officer to buy a birthday gift for a young boy.
