'Forgiveness is a gift from God'

Today is the last Sunday of the month of January.
My family and I are happy together to come to the Church especially to renew our covenant to the Lord.
As we sing our Church hymn, "As Now We Take The Sacrament", we contemplate on the following lines especially its spiritual application to ourselves as sinners:
As now our minds review the past
We know we must repent;
The way to thee is righteousness—
The way thy life was spent.
Forgiveness is a gift from thee
We seek with pure intent.
With hands now pledged to do thy work,
We take the sacrament.
We realize that repentance is a way to be forgiven of our sins we have committed. And it should be unbiased with honest purpose and commitment to do the Lord's work. Then we're ready to take the sacrament.

I agree. and if we are wrong there is no harm is seeking forgiveness. It removes a great burden from the heart

Forgiveness is unconditional. It has no terms or conditions.
