As of last Friday, Eli Manning publicly retired as a New York Giant. Eli Manning had started his career as the first overall pick by the San Diego Chargers in 2004 but was immediately traded to the Giants. He's won 2 superbowls and was Walter Payton Man of the year in 2016. Manning hods many other awards and records that he can be proud of. After 16 years he began a Giant and he will retire a Giant. No one again will wear the number 10. "For most of my life, people have called me easy. Believe me there is nothing easy about today. Wellington Mara always said: Once a Giant, always a Giant. For me, it's only a Giant."- Eli Manning from his Retirement Press Conference. *Most information came from wikipedia and the quote is from his press conference last Friday. *picture from google
