Today, Kobe Bryant's death shocked the world. We never really know when death is coming. As I of typing this, my mother-in-law is in ICU. She has been fighting for her dear life for a couple weeks now. Three days ago, on the eve of Seollal (Lunar New Year in Korea), we were told by the attending physician that my MIL might not make it to the next day. But she's still with us until now, trying to carry through. This morning, we were again informed that today maybe her last day. Who knows? Nobod knows.

She started having constipation. Then, later on turned progressed diarrhea. My husband cannot really explain to me why needed to be confined to ICU then later transferred to a more advanced hospital.
