I'm not really a huge sports fan but I can recognize the names of those in the field who are noted for their skills. So it was a shock when I read this tragic report that popped up in the news headlines on the home page right after I had logged out of my eMail.
~ Kobe Bryant and his young daughter, along with several other passengers died in a tragic helicopter crash on January 26, 2020.
In Memory Of:
Kobe Bryant (1978-2020), Husband, Father, Basketball Ambassador
~ Gigi Bryant (2006 - 2020)
***
My heart goes out to all of those who lost their loved ones in that awful crash.

R:I.P. It is particularly devastating when young people die for apparently no reasons.

The thing about Kobe Bryant is not just his prowess in basketball but also, he did his best to live an exemplary life. That is why we got shocked.

He seemed to be a good father and person. It is a tragic loss for that family.
