Her Warrior's Three Wishes is the second book in Carrie Ann Ryan's Dante's Circle series. I really love this series.
This book is about a triad, MFM.
Synopsis:
"Humans aren't as alone as they choose to believe. Every human possess a trait of supernatural that lays dormant within their genetic makeup. Centuries of diluting and breeding have allowed humans to think they are alone and untouched by magic, but what happen when something changes?
Ambrose Griffin is older than most, if not all, civilizations. As each year passes, he submerges himself into his training. Only relaxing around his protegee and friend, Shade. After losing his wife and children in the last Angelic Wars, he guards his heart and has no desire to share it with another.
Bookkeeper and romance novel enthusiast, Jamie Bennett dreams of being swept off her feet by a white knight. However, her life is no romance book. Since meeting Ambrose--a sexy, delicious angel-- she's been twisted inside out and doesn't know why. Things are happening that she can't control and now her life is in danger.
Balin Drake is stuck in Hell, literally. His life of refusing to take souls, even though it's part of his demon nature, has caught up with him. He's dying and now must search for his true half, but even a mating may not save him. When he meets the two people who could fill that part, he'll need to fight for something he hasn't felt in over a century--hope."
This book isn't about a threesome. Yes it has a triad but it works for them. It's about being happy with yourself and just being happy in general without building your life around the general public's judgement.
Jamie, Ambrose and Balin form a triad. They are all each others true halves and each brings out the better in each other.
Ambrose returns to Earth from the Angelic realm with every intention of staying away from Jamie except to help protect her and the other lightning struck women. Somewhere in the whole day that he has been back Ambrose want to just stop fighting Fate.
Just when he chooses Jamie, she gets kidnapped by his nemesis. Demon, Pyro that he fought and scarred instead of killing in a war between Angels and Demons. Pyro brings Jamie to Hell knowing that Ambrose will follow her straight down and if he's really lucky, start another war.
Well he's right. Ambrose goes to Hell to find Jamie but what no one expected was that Balin would take one look at his father's new toy and know that she belonged to him.
One woman, two men and Hell...literally to escape.
How will this end for everyone?
I will recommend this book ten times over and many more times again after that. Action, humor and magic...where could you possibly go wrong?
