A 7.7 earthquake occurred yesterday in the Caribbean. It was felt all the way to Miami FL. A tsunami warning was in effect but has since been lifted. Hopefully not any casualties. Stay safe everyone.

That is really strong one. I hope there is not much destruction. I am glad that the Tsunami warning has been lifted since if it triggered tsunami it could be a lot worse.

Yes. A tsunami could bring devastation to not only the Caribbean islands but to parts of North America.

It occurred mainly in the ocean between Jamiaca and Cuba. Although the Cayman Islands also felt the tremor.

There have lots of earthquakes around the globe so far this year. 5 were reported to occur in the same day recently around Vancouver Island, Canada. These quakes were 5.5 - 6 on the Richter Scale. Scary.

@Starmaiden yes! even here:(( plus volcanic eruption. To be honest, when we are driving thru a flyover or i am in an elevator or mall, it scares me.because anytime, there might have an earthquake.
